Carolyn Miller is the Business Manager
for The Manufacturing Extension Partnership of Mississippi (MEP.ms),
a nonprofit line of business that has teamed up with universities,
community colleges, governmental agencies and private consultants
to identify opportunities for manufacturers to improve their efficiency
and productivity. Carolyn oversees and coordinates all financial
and reporting activities for MEP.ms, in conjunction with the Mississippi
Technology Alliance (MTA), the host of MEP.ms.
Carolyn brings more than twenty years of scheduling/planning, project
management and administrative experience working in manufacturing,
telecommunications, state government and nonprofit. She previously
worked as the Administrative Manager of the Mississippi Technology
Alliance Innovation Center (MTAIC), a technology incubator dedicated
to assisting clients in the formation and development of new enterprises
and enabling them to succeed.
Carolyn is a native of Starkville, Mississippi and has lived in
Jackson since 1984. She received a Bachelor’s degree from
Mississippi State University in Business Education in 1979.
